RJ Harvey has been a bit slower than some had expected to start his first NFL season, but that isn't surprising, as he is a rookie competing for the top running back spot in Denver. However, against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football, the Broncos put on a "run the ball" clinic with J.K. Dobbins eclipsing 100 rushing yards and Harvey having 58 behind him.
The bigger accomplishment for Harvey against the Bengals, though, was that he finally scored his first career touchdown with the Broncos. Yes, he scored one in the preseason, but he has finally done it in the regular season, and it will go down on his official stats.
The best thing about Harvey's touchdown was that it will probably be the easiest one he ever scores in his NFL career.

With about five minutes left in the fourth quarter and the Broncos just trying to run the clock with an 18-point lead over the Bengals, both quarterback Bo Nix and Harvey linked up on a 12-yard touchdown pass and reception to give the Broncos a 25-point lead.
On a 3rd and 5 play, Nix dropped back to pass and Harvey took off to the left sideline, where no one on the defense seemed to notice him, and it was probably the easiest pass and catch touchdown Nix and Harvey will ever have.
Harvey practically walked into the end zone completely untouched, and he probably will even be able to keep that ball for his first career touchdown and add it to his mantle. This was a huge game for Harvey as he also had 98 total yards with 58 rushing yards and 40 receiving yards on four of five targets.
While Dobbins is beginning to emerge as the true lead back in Denver, head coach Sean Payton still seems to be liking what he sees from Harvey and going with the dual-back backfield. Clearly, the Broncos as a whole are liking what they see from Harvey, and now with four games under his belt, he may see more and more time on the field.
