RJ Harvey saw the field for the first time in a Denver Broncos uniform last week in his NFL preseason debut against the San Francisco 49ers, but now he has solidified himself with the team by scoring his first-ever NFL touchdown. In the Broncos' second preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals, Harvey scored an 8-yard touchdown on the first drive of the game.

Harvey's first-ever NFL score showed off all that he learned at UCF with break-through tackles and moving his feet all the way through the end zone. The play was truly vintage-Harvey and should give UCF fans the feeling of nostalgia for what he did simply just last season.

Harvey played just the first two drives of the game, but with many starters sitting out, some believe it means J.K. Dobbins will be the RB1 and Harvey will be the feature back, but that still remains to be seen in a few weeks. Harvey finished his night with three carries for 18 yards and a touchdown, which is less than his debut, but with how well the Broncos were throwing the ball, they didn't have a lot of rushes in the first two drives.

RJ Harvey still has a chance to start for the Denver Broncos as a rookie

While some believe Dobbins will be the starter with Harvey starting the second preseason game, Broncos head coach Sean Payton has shown he doesn't want to show his cards early. So Harvey still have a real chance to be the starter for the Broncos come the start of the season.

In the Broncos first preseason game, Harvey was featured more on first and second down while Dobbins was featured on third down. Harvey has impressed a lot during training camp and workouts before training camp, so the former UCF Knight can still has time to show he deserves to be the starter at the beginning of the season.
