The RJ Harvey era in Denver is officially here, and UCF fans could not be more excited. After a bit of a slower start to the season than some were hoping for, Harvey finally had his big breakout game that both Broncos and Knights fans have been waiting for.

After a huge comeback last week against the New York Giants that had the Broncos scoring 33 points in the fourth quarter, six of those coming from Harvey, Denver was ready for a big matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys' offense has been humming this season, so the Broncos' defense needed to be at its best against Dak Prescott and company.

The defense did its job, so it was up to the offense to play complementary football, and boy did they. Broncos fans are happy to see their team finally have a lethal rushing attack as both J.K. Dobbins and Harvey have been a great duo this season. Dobbins had yet another game over 100 rushing yards, while Harvey added 46 of his own, as well as two rushing touchdowns.

Harvey's third touchdown came in the air on a five-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Bo Nix. This was the first time since 2002 that a rookie position player for the Broncos has scored three touchdowns in one game.

It was only a matter of time before Harvey was getting himself into the record books in Denver. As mentioned earlier, Denver has been using the attack of both Dobbins and Harvey to wear down opposing defenses. While Harvey only had one target and reception against Dallas, he has also been a solid part of the receiving game for Denver.

While Dobbins is playing well for the Broncos, Harvey is proving he can be an asset for Denver going forward, which is exactly why he was drafted in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

UCF fans are not surprised in the least that Harvey is performing so well in the NFL, as he was practically the Knights' entire offense his final season in Orlando.
