The wait is officially over! Former UCF running back and now official Denver Broncos running back RJ Harvey has signed his NFL contract as he becomes to latest 2025 second-round pick to sign his deal. Harvey signed a 4-year, $7.35 million deal with a $1.99 million signing bonus.
While Harvey was able to stick with the trend of second-round picks receiving fully guaranteed contracts, he still received a contract with the first nearly two and a half years guaranteed, which is unprecedented. Even though he didn't get a fully guaranteed deal, to still get the majority of his rookie contract guaranteed as a late second-round pick is not something normally seen in the draft.
The Broncos have now signed all of their draft picks and just in time for training camp to start. Harvey adn the rest of the rookies had to report to camp on July 16, while the rest of the team will report on July 22. This obviously will be Harvey's first NFL Training Camp, and he will have many eyes on him as he has been one of the top rookies to watch for the Broncos.

RJ Harvey has a real chance to make a name in the NFL with the Denver Broncos
Harvey went into the 2025 NFL Draft as one of the sleeper picks that the Broncos just couldn't pass up on in the second round. So Denver took Harvey, and ever since then, he has continued to make headlines for the team.
In rookie mini-camps, Harvey was seen running routes and plays efficiently and was catching the eyes of many coaches. Harvey was also catching the eye of the media, but it was not just because of his play in the field, but also because of his quad size. The former UCF running back was even dubbed the new "quad-zilla," just like the Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley was dubbed "Sa-quad Barkley."
To be compared to a player like Barkley in any manner is something to be very proud of. However, Harvey has also been named a player to watch in Training Camp and this upcoming football season. Even though the Broncos made a late signing to bring in veteran running back J.K. Dobbins, Harvey still has a great opportunity to break out in his rookie season.
