DripU is back and on I am not talking about Oregon. UCF has just dropped their all-black DripU uniforms for their first game of the season against New Hampshire.
The Knights have made a bit of a name for themselves when it comes to uniforms in the past few seasons. For the first game of the season, UCF will wear their newest uniforms in Week 1 debuting them against New Hampshire and they are fire.
Since joining the Big 12, UCF has gone through a rebranding of its different logos. They debuted a new Knight head logo two seasons ago and even started branding their cursive Knights logo.
UCF has made a name for itself when it comes to uniforms and it all started with their annual Space Game. UCF began their annual Space Game seven years ago when they designed special space-themed uniforms to commemorate UCF's ties to the space program.
Every year they have designed new space uniforms that they have worn for only one game and every year they keep getting better and better. The Knights have built off the momentum of designing those space-themed uniforms and put efforts into designing amazing uniforms to make a name for themselves in the Big 12.
The Knights play into the all-black themes big as they like to call their student fans the "Knightmare" and what is scarier than all-black uniforms. Sounds like the definition of a nightmare to me.
The uniform will also have the UCF Pegasus on the shoulder sleeves and stars on the pants to connect to their space past.
Fans are loving the new uniform and are showing that love on social media.
UCF will look the part on Thursday, now they will just need to play the part and come out big against New Hampshire.
