3 home games that are crucial wins UCF football needs to secure in 2024

The Bounce House is a tough place to play and UCF is known to be unbeatable at home.

The Bounce House is a tough place to play. No matter how the team is doing, fans come out and support the Knights. The toughest part of playing at the Bounce House is that there is no escape from the student section. With a student section on both end zones, opponents are constantly being screamed at on both sides of the field.

All home games are crucial for each team because you never want an opponent to come in and beat you on your own home turf. However, conference home games are probably the most important games of the season because if you can't win at home, how can you expect to win on the road.

Over the last five years, UCF is 22-6 in home games not losing more than two in a season. So looking forward to the 2024 season, which home games are crucial for the Knights to win?

This will be UCF's first Big 12 home game of the season and even though Colorado struggled last season, they still have one of the best quarterbacks in the country. With how the Knights struggled on defense last year, they could really struggle against the Buffaloes and their high-flying offense.

This will also be the Knights's first game against one of the newcomers to the conference, the first of four games against the former Pac-12 teams. This is also an important game because UCF will want a win heading into their matchup against the Gators the following week.

This will be UCF's annual space game and the reason this is an important game is because the Knights, or should I say the Citronauts, have never lost a space game. The space game is when UCF debuts a space-themed uniform designed specifically for that game and fans come dressed in space-themed outfits for one game, the team is known as the Citronauts, the school's old mascot.

This is also an important game because Arizona is one of the top teams coming into the conference and if UCF can take them down, it would really help them in the Big 12 standings.

This might be the biggest game of the season for UCF taking on one of the Big 12 favorites at the end of the season. The Knights finish their regular season at home against Utah on their Senior Knight. UCF could play spoiler for Utah, or they could be playing for a spot in the Big 12 Championship.
