The UCF Knights are getting ready to start the Scott Frost era...again. The 2025 season will mark Frost's first season back with the Knights, and with the season getting closer and closer every day, the Knights officially have their first two game times.

UCF will open up the season at home against Jacksonville State in Week 1 and North Carolina A&T in Week 2. Even after a tough season in 2024, leaving the Knights scrambling to build a new team, UCF still earned two night games in its first two matchups.

The Knights will open against Jacksonville State at 7:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, August 28, and face North Carolina A&T at 7:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, September 6. Both games will air on ESPN+, and this will also be the first meeting between UCF and these teams in program history.

The Knights are going for the 10th season opener win in a row, a streak that started back when Frost took over the first time for UCF in 2016. UCF has made it a habit of winning their season openers big, as the last eight of their nine season openers have been decided by 28 points or more. The only season opener to not have that large of a margin was at home against Boise State in 2021, when the game was delayed three times due to weather and didn't end till almost 1:00 the next morning.

It was also announced that UCF's game against Houston, which will be their annual Space Game, will air on FS1. A kickoff time has yet to be announced.

UCF is set for a tough season ahead as they enter their third year in the Big 12 and their first one under Frost again. UCF could surprise a lot of people, but it seems like this team still has a ways to go before it starts talking about undefeated seasons again.
