The Bounce House is back...well, kind of.

The UCF Board of Trustees has approved the stadium name change from FBC Mortgage Stadium to Acrisure Bounce House today, after FBC Mortgage announced a few weeks ago that they had been acquired by Acrisure.

This news should come with shouts of joy from the UCF fanbase as the Bounce House name has been a beloved one by fans since the stadium was built back in 2007. The Bounce House earned its infamous name when fans learned that if they bounce in sync to the song Zombie Nation, the stadium literally bounces with them.

The stadium was actually checked by independent contractors, and it was determined that the "bouncing" was actually sound and it was not dangerous, or would shorten the life span of the stadium.

The name change will come into effect when Acrisure officially acquires FBC Mortgage on July 1. This name change does not change anything with UCF's 10-year $19.5 million deal that was signed back in 2022. The last time UCF was named the Bounce House officially was back after the 2020 season ended and the deal with Spectrum also ended, allowing UCF to change the name for two seasons.

After those two seasons, FBC Mortgage came in and signed the naming rights deal, officially naming the stadium FBC Mortgage Stadium, but of course, the fans still called it the Bounce House.

The stadium is actually undergoing a few renovations as UCF has broken ground on the Roth Tower Project, where there will be a 256% increase in square footage of usable club space for gameday and non-gameday events, 42% more club seats, loge seating, 28 luxury suites, 38% larger in size than current suites, 34 new outdoor sky suites, and more shade across the stadium bowl. The renovations are set to be done by the fall of 2026.
