UCF running back is showing off at the NFL Combine, something he has to do in order to work his way up the draft board. Even though Harvey is ranked on Mel Kiper Jr.'s big board for running backs, he is still an underrated back that many NFL teams will overlook.
Harvey is doing the work at the combine to make sure he isn't overlooked. On Day 3 of the NFL Combine, probably one of the more exciting days, Harvey ran what is probably the most watched and anticipated event at the combine: the 40-yard dash.
In an elite group of running backs, Harvey needed to run a great time in order to work his way up the rankings. Harvey did what Harvey does best and surprised a lot of people, running the 40-yard dash in 4.40 seconds officially, the fourth fastest time among the running backs.

Harvey has been named as a sleeper pick in this upcoming NFL Draft as a player who can make an immediate impact for whatever team chooses to give him a chance. As of right now, Harvey is projected as a day 3 guy being taken anywhere from the fourth round to the seventh round. Harvey could also fall out of the draft altogether and be signed as an undrafted free agent.
Harvey had an opportunity to head to the NFL last offseason but chose to stick around with the Knights for one extra year, and it truly paid off. Harvey ran for 1,577 yards for the Knights on offense and, at many points, was the only offense for UCF in games. He had 22 rushing touchdowns for the Knights as well as 215, 267 receiving yards, and three receiving touchdowns.
UCF fans can see if Harvey ane other UCF players will be taken in the NFL Draft on April 24 through April 26 on ESPN.
