It is officially EA Sports College Football 25 release month and EA Sports continues to give us things to look forward to, their latest release is one everyone has been waiting for.

They have officially named the top 100 college football players and their overall ratings in the game. UCF does have one player on the list and it is no surprise who it is. After having over 1,400 rushing yards, 16 rushing touchdowns, 238 receiving yards, and two touchdowns, RJ Harvey has been given a 91 overall rating and is the No. 68 ranked player.

Harvey put up monster numbers for the Knights last season and his decision to return for the 2024 season has probably been one of his best. Harvey is getting noticed by EAP Sports as the top player that UCF has going into this next season.

The breakdown for each rating is the average of five different categories: speed, acceleration, strength, awareness, and jumping. Here are Harvey's ratings in each category:

  • Speed: 92
  • Acceleration: 92
  • Strength: 74
  • Awareness: 93
  • Jumping: 87

Harvey is one of 14 running backs on the list and is also one of four running backs from the Big 12. He is joined by Oklahoma State's Ollie Gordon III, Texas Tech's Tahj Brooks, and Kansas's Devil Neal.

With a new quarterback under center, UCF may need to lean more on Harvey early in the season as the offense learns to gel in each game. Not only is Harvey a big threat in the run game, but he has soft hands and a great ability to be a receiving back.

In their second year in the Big 12, UCF hopes to improve their 6-7 record. According to the recently released Big 12 Preseason Media Polls, they are projected to finish eighth in the conference. Harvey will be a big part of the offense this upcoming season and his rating seems fitting for how great of a player he is.
