UCF has left USF behind, so who is the next rival?

This is an easy one because both Houston and UCF came from the American Athletic Conference together in 2023. UCF and Houston have a long history together, especially in basketball.

UCF and Houston always seemed to meet when the Cougars were at the top of college basketball rankings and even though UCF did not win a lot of those meetings, they always gave Houston a run for their money. On the football field, UCF has historically played better against the Cougars in the past few seasons.

This could be a great rivalry for UCF with the history that these two teams share.
