Every UCF fan knows Knightro is the best mascot, but how does he rank in the Big 12?

Big 12 mascots. 449. . . Bearcat. 14. . . Bearcat. player

What even is a bearcat? The Cincinnati mascot doesn't make a lot of sense, but also, why not come up with more of a fun name. Use an alliteration, or come up with a fun name to go with Bearcat.

However, Cincinnati chose to just go with Bearcat as the name of their mascot. Bearcat is fun and does well in a crowd, but it seems like a bit of a lackluster name and mascot.
