Even though the Knights are heavy favorites, CGD likes the Buffaloes this week
UCF is a 14-point favorite over Colorado today, but apparently, that doesn't seem to matter to some of the ESPN College Gameday crew.
The FOX Big Noon Kickoff crew had three of the four hosts pick the Knights in this game, but the ESPN College Gameday crew, after talking about how much they liked what they are seeing from the Knights split the decision on this game.
The good thing about the picks is that former Alabama coach and new gameday host Nick Saban, Orlando native Lee Corso, and Kirk Herbstreit all went with the Knights.
UCF has the best running back room in college football, with the Knights averaging over 375 rushing yards per game, and running back RJ Harvey is leading the way. Harvey made the decision to come back to UCF this season even though he could have declared for the NFL Draft after last season.
Harvey stated that he wanted to come back and have a better ending to the season than the Knights did last year. So far, they are off to a good start, with the Knights being 3-0, and they already have a win in the Big 12 with their big comeback win in Fort Worth two weeks ago against TCU.
The Orlando native hasn't been getting as much national attention as he should be, but if he can have a big game against Colorado, some people just might start talking.
UCF will have to use the crowd noise to their advantage on defense because this Colorado offense is nothing to scoff at. The Knights will have to be ready for everything the Buffaloes are going to throw at them, especially is they want to prove some of the gameday hosts wrong for picking against them.
Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. EST on FOX.
