UCF heads into their second season in the Big 12 and it just might be their best shot at a conference title.

West Virginia had a rocky start to their season in 2023, but they somewhat snuck their way to being a top team in the conference finishing with a 9-4 record. Quarterback Garrett Greene will be a big asset for the Mountaineers this season with his ability to throw the ball and run it effectively.

Running backs Jaheim White and DJ Donaldson will also help this offense have possibly one of the most dominant running games in the Big 12. The defense needs to step up and be on par with the offense, but that will be seen once the season starts.

The ceiling is high for the Mountaineers, but more importantly, the floor is high as well allowing the Mountaineers to possibly be one of the better teams in the Big 12, but the defense will either make or break the team.
