Oklahoma State started out the offseason as the bonafide favorites to win the Big 12 next season, but as time has gone on, other teams seem to have jumped them. The Cowboys are a talented team, they were in the Big 12 Championship last season, so the talent is there, but is last season's talent enough.

The return of running back Ollie Gordon III is huge, however, that is the majority of the Cowboys' offense right there. If you take away their run game, like how UCF did last season, the Cowboys offense is not something to fear.

Head coach Mike Gundy knows how to put together a winning program at Oklahoma State, but it always seems like when his teams are expected to do well, they fall apart. Can they win the Big 12? Yes, but they need to figure things out on the offense besides the run game in order to do so.
