Believe it or not, UCF football has never played these FBS teams

UCF football vs. Current Independents

With the number of independents dropping from four to three in 2024, there are two independents that UCF has yet to face on the football field.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish: Notre Dame is a historically successful program and with how they make their schedule, unless UCF starts cranking out Big 12 Championships left and right, the Fighting Irish might not schedule them. The only way these teams would beat right now would be in the College Football Playoff or a bowl game.

UMass Minutemen: With the distance between UMass and UCF, it is no surprise these teams haven't met yet. UCF might struggle in that colder weather and UMass may struggle in a hotter climate. It could be an interesting postseason meeting though.
